I've been here several times over the last few years and have always thought it was a 10/10 experience. I do recommend coming with a reservation, because they are always pretty busy. However, I have come here twice in a group of 3 without a reservation and gotten seated quickly at the bar. Nevertheless, if you want a table, book one in advance! :) The menu does change pretty often, but I've tried a good amount and everything has been delicious. The grilled mushrooms is always a showstopper for me! Also, the meat is all top-notch. It is a butcher shop + restaurant combo, so this makes sense! This is definitely a restaurant on the pricier side, so it's great for special occasions or when parents are in town. They have indoor and outdoor seating, and service is always pretty good.

Excellent food. Excellent service. Great little Venue with a fabulous patio when weather is cool (below 88F). We love this place for brunch.

Visit Date: July 20, 2024 We came here to eat brunch after spotting it on the Michelin-hopefuls article written by Eater Austin. They have a very small parking lot, so you have to be lucky. I'm sure there are residential streets nearby you could use and then walk to the door. It is a restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, and great service. We shared the cinnamon roll, klobasnek, and pork flautas appetizer. All 3 were good and the cinnamon roll wasn't too sweet. I got the pastrami sandwich which was amazing!! They have an extensive menu and I'd love to return to try their bolder meat dishes and desserts.

The loveliest of settings, from the cozy indoors with accented wooden chairs and booths to an outdoor patio with beautifully strung lights, Dai Due is perfect for a date night or intimate dinner and drinks. The food is also outstanding, and in my opinion, possibly makes it one of the best restaurants in Austin. We ordered the shrimp appetizer, quail and sides of french fries and zuchhini. The shrimp was cooked on a skewer and coated in a creamy pesto. The fries are not to be missed - especially the beet ketchup, which can't quite be described, but is exceptional. Overall, a delicious meal in a beautiful setting.
